Our Program
Where Faith, Hard Work, and Healing Meet
At The River’s Edge Ranch, we offer a proven, multi-phase recovery program that empowers men to reclaim their lives from the grips of addiction. Through manual labor, animal-assisted therapy, community service, and faith-based mentorship, men find success in their recovery journey—even after other rehabilitation attempts have fallen short.
We serve men from all walks of life, particularly veterans, parolees, and those struggling with homelessness. A one-year commitment to our program sets participants on the path to lasting transformation, restored dignity, and a life of purpose.
A Holistic Approach to Recovery
Our one-year program combines practical life skills with spiritual growth, guiding the ranchers to live a healthy, fulfilling life. The men in our program learn the value of hard work on a true working ranch, where caring for animals such as cattle, horses, and poultry helps restore a sense of pride and purpose.
This rigorous but rewarding work, paired with daily Bible study and community service, equips each man to reintegrate into society with a renewed sense of self-worth and hope for the future.

Application for Admission
Operating the Ranch's one-year drug and alcohol recovery program costs $1,900 per month for each rancher. Each rancher is responsible for 32% of this cost, with a monthly program fee of $600 due by the first of every month.
While this fee doesn’t cover the full program cost, it reflects our commitment to making recovery accessible. We believe financial barriers should never prevent anyone from healing. Therefore, we do not turn away qualified candidates, regardless of their ability to pay. Financial assistance for monthly fees may be available from private donors pending leadership approval and is considered on a case-by-case basis.
